This is a no-frills app helping you to decide if a plant is poison oak or ivy using the latest AI. Photo can either be taken live or selected from your library.

Features:
- 90% accuracy on images used to train the algorithm. The only reason that this isnt higher is because from our survey, similar apps have a much more curated dataset and do not function well out on the trail/campsite.
- Algorithm trained and tested on data hand-collected on numerous outdoor excursions
- Everything happens on your device! This has many advantages over other bigger apps:
- Can be used where there is no internet unlike more complicated apps
- Doesnt send your photos off to some server: your data is your data
- AI algorithm recognizes plants correctly in much more robust situations that you might encounter in nature

When you touch a leaf or twig of poison oak/ivy at ANY time of year, the oil that causes the rash is typically absorbed within 15 min. The quicker you can identify that you touched such a plant the better. One quick off-the-shelf remedy is if you think this is the case Technu (offered on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2LB9fFV).

Developer Note:
Although I would prefer to just make this a labor of love, the truth is it does cost money to maintain the app in the store. For this reason, I need to include ads but I have make an effort not to make them intrusive. The purpose is to cover the costs of making this a better app. Thanks for your support!
